When will I have a full bleed

Hi. I'm supposed to be 10 weeks scan showed pregnancy stopped growing at 6 weeks. I have been spotting since Tuesday, it's now been 5 days, I am having a consistent light bleeding. Losing red blood and string like bits. When will the heavy bleed start ? I'm not yet experiencing a full bleed. This morning when I woke up I felt my pregnancy symptoms dissapeared. Could that be a sign something is about to happen? I was informed by the hospital my cervix is open and I am is miscarrying. Just wondering it others had experienced the same ?

I'm having mild cramps on and off since yesterday

Hi, I’m sorry you’re going through this.

I know it varies from woman to woman, but I started spotting on the 7th of this month and didn’t have a heavy bleed until 24th, so just over two weeks. When it started, I was passing large clots for about two hours, but then it died down and has been like a normal period since (with the odd clot). I hope when it happens, it’s manageable for you and not too painful. I expected more cramping/discomfort than I actually experienced. I was 9 weeks from LMP but our baby was only measuring 5+6.

So sorry for your loss op. I found out last week at 10 weeks that baby had died. I'v had some red blood since last Wednesday but my cervix is still closed. I was told it could be days or weeks.
Have you been offered any treatment yet? I have a final scan next week before I'll be offered management.

I'm sorry for your loss im2sad, I saw a consultant yesterday and she confirmed my cervix was open and I was miscarrying. I'm not having any heavy bleed, I passed a clot about 2-3cm while having painful cramps and I am hoping that could be the pregnancy. I will be going to early pregnancy for scan tomorrow. I hope your miscarriage is quick as possible x

Hi all. Sorry for your losses, it's absolutely horrible isn't it.
I found out last week at 9.5 weeks that i had a missed miscarriage, baby stopped growing at 6 weeks or so but sac was measuring correctly. This was last Wednesday but had some spotting 2 days before that I thought nothing of as it was only a small amount and stopped after a hour or so. Had cramping past 2 days and too passed something stringy and about an inch long (sorry tmi) this morning. I too am waiting for my bleed to start as currently there's only a bit of brown when I wipe. Booked in for an ERPC on Friday morning.

I miscarried last Friday at 8 weeks I asked for medical intervention as I started a new job yesterday as she said it could last 2-3 weeks for the bleeding/sac to pass. So it was all over pretty quick within the same day & Ive had light bleeding since.
