7 weeks post medical management and still bleeding

I am feeling really fed up. It’s been over 7 weeks since I had medical management for a missed miscarriage where the baby stopped growing at 11 weeks, discovered at our 12 week scan.

I had a scan after 3 weeks where I was told I had retained product but was told at 5 weeks it was gone and I should stop bleeding ‘soon’, that was 2 weeks ago so it’s now been 7 in total.

I’m just fed up. I’ve had enough. I want it over now! Did anyone else bleed this long?

I want to start TTC again but after all of this I’m feeling pretty drained.

Hopeful bump. Still bleeding. Going to ring EPAU tomorrow.

Just thought I’d follow up on this for anyone that finds it in the future.

I went to EPAU who did an examination, swabs, urine test and blood test and said everything is fine and things are probably just taking their time. HCG was 212 still.

Funnily enough, after bleeding for 8 weeks and a day, I FINALLY stopped bleeding the day after I went to the hospital.

Now I just to get that negative test which is unfortunately still positive 😞

That certainly is a long time. Was going to suggest EPAU cos of possible infection but glad you've already done all that and its clear. I think the further along you are the longer it takes hcg to drop. Hope its all over for you soon x
