Could this be another MC (TMI PICTURES)

Sorry for gross pictures just looking for some advice.

I’ve had three previous MC and recently found out I have a bicornuate uterus which makes me a high risk pregnancy. I’m 6weeks 4 days

Yesterday I had some brown discharge and then a little clot. I haven’t had any pain or anymore bleeding so it’s different to my previous MCs as the bleeding never stopped previously. I haven’t lost any pregnancy symptoms which I normally lose at this point.

Has anyone had this and knows what it is? I can’t get a scan done until Thursday 13th

Thanks in advance

OP Flowers I had 3 MCs too, currently 27 weeks pregnant with my little boy. FWIW in this pregnancy I had a very, very similar bleeding/spotting incident at 6+2 and then again later on in the first trimester and all was fine. Obviously no one can give you a guarantee as I'm sure you know very well, but it is definitely true that this isn't necessarily a bad sign at all. You might have a very sensitive uterus now and it just happens. Mine wasn't helped by Cyclogest early on, not sure if you're on it too after 3 MCs. Try to stay level headed until your scan, things really may be totally fine. Deep breaths. xx

Thank you for sharing! I'm very sorry for your previous losses but congratulations on your current pregnancy I hope all is going well!

My bleeding/spotting seems to be on and off and it's more like light brown discharge the last couple of days versus the pictures I posted. Did you have it for a few days? I don't feel unwell and it's very different to before as I never had a break from bleeding previously. Tomorrow can't come quick enough as I just want to know what's going on. Good luck and I'll post an update tomorrow when I know the outcome 🤞🏼❤️

Hopefully it’s nothing - I had similar up to about 12 weeks with one of mine. Just randomly on and off. The midwife said it was ‘old blood’ and not to worry unless it increased or was red. Everything was fine despite it causing a lot of stress so fingers crossed the same is true for you x

canitbesimple · 12/05/2021 07:20

Thank you for sharing. It has decreased massively and I'm now just having really light brown discharge no more situations like above. To be honest you would probably miss it if you weren't looking for it

In my previous MCs it always got darker and eventually bright red. I normally lost symptoms quickly too and got really unwell like I was getting sick but again this hasn't happened

Hope everything is okay tomorrow 💕🤞🏼

It's brown blood so doesn't mean you should assume it's over yet. You're still early days so symptoms may not have kicked in fully yet but if you've still got symptoms that's a good sign I think.

It might just be that dreaded waiting game for a bit.

Good luck op- I hope it works out for you Thanks

canitbesimple · 12/05/2021 07:32

Thank you for your kind words! It's so strange as it's not become heavier it's lighter now just a really light brown discharge you would miss it if you weren't paranoid like me investigating it 🤣

Symptoms are still strong. Usually by now I have heavy bleeding and no symptoms. Fingers crossed this is my chance 🌞🤞🏼

How are you OP? Flowers

I only just saw your post sorry, I had it on-off for probably 1-2 days twice from what I remember. I would agree that brown blood is quite common and may well be nothing of concern (but I totally understand how anxious it can make you feel with this sort of history especially, it's really unhelpful that some bleeding/discharge happens randomly is actually perfectly harmless when you're already worried). I hope today goes ok for you xx

I'm doing okay. Had really small amount of brown discharge that's been on and off for the last few days. Hasn't been any worse than it was in the pictures.

Trying to remain calm and be positive but it's difficult 😩. It's still Wednesday here in the U.K. so just need to get through the evening and then find out what's going on 💕🤞🏼

Oh sorry my brain is gone! I was thinking all day that it's Thursday today (I'm in the UK too). Best of luck for tomorrow Flowers

Hi everyone,

I had my scan today and they seen a sac and a little white bubble inside which had lots of flickering that they said was a heartbeat 😍 I can't get a due date as the baby is so tiny to measure and due to my bicornuate uterus it was difficult for them to see clearly when it's so small!

I have some blood and clots around the sac which they said could be some old implantation bleeding which might be causing the brown bleeding I've had. As long as it doesn't get heavy or red then not to be concerned as it doesn't seem to be affecting the baby.

So happy that this might finally be my chance after my MCs 💕 fingers crossed that next week we see a clearly picture of our little one 🤞🏼

Ah that's great OP. Fingers crossed for more good news for you over the next few weeks Flowers🌈

The bleeding around the sac might be subchorionic haematoma, have they mentioned it at all? It shouldn't cause any issues, but just something to keep an eye on and if it is that then you may have some more bleeding throughout the pregnancy for a while, just so you're aware. See how things go, by the end of the first trimester you should have more clarity. Flowers xx

Thank you so much!

They never really said much about the bleeding they just said that it was all the way round the sac but they said it was hard to say what it was and when it would clear up. They said it might be old implantation tissue and bleeding but it will be monitored and hopefully resolve in its own.

Fingers crossed that over the next couple of weeks it looks better and the bleeding stops 🤞🏼💕
