Hoping someone who has been through something similar can share their experience as I’m going crazy!
Had a mmc 6 weeks ago (should have been 12 weeks but baby measured 6.5w). Took misoprostol which needed to be repeated the following week as around 3cm of blood clots remained. The week after I had another TV ultrasound which showed a blood clot of around 1cm remaining. Dr told me that it was very small and would be reabsorbed or come out during my next period.
I have not bled since the day before that appointment and hubby and I have been DTD for a few weeks. Started doing pregnancy tests 3wks after miscarriage and they were faint positive. Last week felt like my period was imminent but nothing came except for slightly pink tinged CM (sorry tmi). I did a clear blue digi with weeks indicator last Friday which was strongly positive and marked 1-2 weeks.
I went to the Drs on Monday worried about RPOC and she did a TV ultrasound. She saw what she thought was a gestational sac measuring around 4mm with a lot of vascularisation but couldn’t be sure whether it was a new developing pregnancy (around 5wks) or RPOC. I had beta HCG levels measured on Tuesday and again this morning. Due to delays at the lab I may not get my results until next Tuesday and I’m going crazy!! Anyone been through something similar? Should add that this was my first miscarriage and I have a 7 and a 5yr old
