D&C Procedure

My baby passed away at 15weeks and i had to have a D&C procedure on the 2nd of March 2021. I had sex 2 weeks after the procedure and then two weeks after that.
It has been 6 weeks since the procedure and I took a few home pregnancy tests on the 9Th April 4days ago and all the tests where all positive. But started bleeding heavy on the 10th like a period, but then the bleeding stopped on the 12th. I have taken another pregnancy test today the 13th and it's still positive.
Is It possible for me to be pregnant again despite all the bleeding I was having, or could it be left of hormones ? Or an incomplete D&C procedure? I'm really confused, I don't know what my body is doing

No one will be able to tell you for sure, but I still had positive tests and hcg hormone for 9 weeks after a loss at 13 weeks. I'd ask your GP if they can run bloods for you a couple of weeks in a row - if they go up it's new, stay the same its retained products, go down it's the MC.
