Miscarriage at 14 weeks

Im 33 years old an my boyfriend and I have been together for 17 years an we got pregnant finally for the first time an I got to 14 weeks pregnant an miscarried on April 3,2021. My boyfriend and I are very devastated. I so have PCOS so I was wondering what would be the best time to try to have another baby?

So sorry for your loss. I think doctors recommend to go through at least two cycles before trying again but I think you should speak to your GP.

We recently discovered at our 12 week scan that our baby had stopped growing at 11 weeks and there was no heartbeat.

From my own research I believe there is no reason why you cannot start again straight away. The hospital might recommend waiting a cycle to help with dating however medically I do not believe this is considered necessary.

Maybe have a chat with your doctor in case your PCOS complicates things, although I do not believe it would.
