I'm very lucky I think in that I've had a straightforward miscarriage early on (6+4). It started with spotting on Wednesday and very quickly progressed to heavy bleeding. When I was scanned I was told PUL/MMC and that it likely happened around 5 weeks, which corresponds to around the time I began to lose symptoms (they were never strong anyway). I had products to pass but the sonographer said it was mostly blood.
Nurse at EPU told me to wait three weeks and then do a test to check HCG is negative, but that seems like a long time for me. My levels were plummeting - used a CB Digital which read 2-3 weeks before bleeding started on Weds and then 1-2 weeks literally the day after.
Should I test sooner that 3 weeks? I'd like to know when I'm likely to start ovulating because I'd like to try again, but mainly because I just want some control back and to start tracking properly.
When did everyone start testing to get a negative? It's the weirdest thing to hope for this result instead of the one I was praying for just weeks ago.
