Never ending miscarriage - looking for support

Just looking for any other stories similar to mine and any support please...

I got pregnant in November 2020 and found out at 7 weeks it was a non viable pregnancy (this was my first pregnancy). At 8 weeks I had d&c as they thought it may be a molar pregnancy (later found out it was not). All seemed fine but 3 weeks later I started haemorrhaging due to retained products of conception. This then lead to a second d&c they scanned me whilst I was under GA to make sure they got everything out. 3 weeks after this I was still testing positive on home pregnancy tests so went back in and again things did not look normal. They said the uterus was still containing some sort of tissue and high vascularity. As I felt well and no signs of infection they decided to leave me 4 weeks to see what happens and wait for vascularity to go down before attempting any further surgery. I went in this week and they said everything looks he same and we are in exactly the same position not wanting to operate due to vascularity so they are now leaving me a further 4-6 weeks. I’m waiting to hear back regarding my current hcg levels. I’ve managed to keep fairly positive all along but it’s now getting me really down. Has anyone been in the position before and what was the outcome? I’d be grateful for any advice or support.

Many thanks
L

Hi LJ88,

Firstly I want to say I’m so sorry for your loss and what you have gone through. I am going through something somewhat similar myself having her a miscarriage at 8 weeks back in July and still testing positive now for hcg in my blood. Due to have a hysteroscopy on Thursday but just wondered what the outcome of yours was?
