Pains after MVA

Hi everyone, I had an MVA a week ago.
I am having pains - mostly on one side. Sharp stabbing pains which last just for a second or two each.

I also feel generally like I'm about to start a bout of thrush- a feeling of itchiness and stinging when washing etc, which doesn't seem to amount to much but is lingering.

Are either of these sensations common?

Sorry, to clarify- the pains are in my lower abdomen, so I'm assuming they are from my uterus

Hi there - So sorry you’re having a rough time. I had an MVA 6 weeks ago myself but I haven’t experienced anything you describe. What is your temperature like? If it’s high that could be a sign you’ve got an infection. In that instance I would call EPU and see if they can assess you and maybe give you some antibiotics.

I’m having post MVA trouble of a different kind at the mo and it sucks so I really feel for you, it’s the last thing you need after a traumatic time anyway.
