Just looking for advice/ stories.
I had a miscarriage 5 weeks ago at 6wks pregnant.
We decided ttc straight away and have been dtd pretty regularly. It's been 5 weeks no period but also lots of negative pregnancy tests?
Am I testing too early? Or is it normal for it to take this long for period to arrive.

No advice really but exactly same timeline. Five weeks ago. Ttc. No period. Negative tests. It's so frustrating. I also have no idea when your period returns if it's the same cycle as before or totally different. Feel like I'm stuck in limbo right now and just testing every day cause I have no clue what's going on.

@Bing42 I'm testing everyday at the moment too and the tests are definitely negative - feel like a crazy lady testing so regularly!
But like you I have no idea when period should arrive. And I don't know what the likelihood of getting pregnant again so soon is

Oh I'm the same. Sometimes multiple of those strip tests you get off Amazon every day! It's so annoying just not knowing what's going on. I tried ovulation tests for a couple of weeks but kept getting positive results every day which clearly wasn't right. No idea why!

Just feels like it's been such a hard slog since the mc happened. At this stage I would welcome AF just to show something is happening.

@Bing42 completely understand. I just want a period or a positive test. Just want to know where I stand with everything!

It took 6 weeks for my period to return after my 6 week miscarriage. So depends when you're likely to ovulate. I'd personally wait until my period returns until trying just to let everything settle.

Fingers crossed we get one or the other soon! I may add a nice bottle of wine, a load of posh coffee and a box of tampons to my next shop. I figure it may tempt fate and spur on a positive!

It took 9 weeks for my period to return after MC but I was a lot further on (14wks, baby lived until 11wks) so the hcg was high. First period can just take a while, I appreciate it's so frustrating waiting

Mine took 6 weeks to return, on my second cycle and I seem to be ovulating later that normal aswell ❤️

Mine took 5 weeks to return after D&C.
