Any hope

I feel so stupid asking this as I'm sure it's over.
I've had two scans and seen baby and heart beat. Had some bleeding on Sunday so went for a scan today and told that baby had no heartbeat. The thing that's making me think they may be wrong is that baby is exactly the right size and bleeding has stopped. I should be 9+2 and baby is measuring 9+3. I had my last scan on Friday and all was good. Is there any chance they could just have missed it? I'm going back Friday to discuss options. Has anyone had experience of this or should i just accept it.

You can ask for another scan. I had another scan before surgery even though I knew 2 sonographer had checked. They were happy to do it for my peace of mind and your area should be too.
I assume they did a transvaginal scan? I was told they should always do this to confirm MC

It was abdominal. I think because I was 9 weeks. I still feel pregnant too. Still have symptoms.
They will do another scan on Friday but I don't want to get my hopes up if it's hopeless.

Just wondering if I should tell people I've told now or wait until Friday.

Still not bleeding and still have all my pregnancy symptoms. Does anyone know of this means I'll have to have surgery if I'm not passing it naturally?
