I'm so devestated

I had a chemical pregnancy today at 4 weeks and 5 days. Started bleeding in the evening and then took a pregnancy test that said "not pregnant".

I'm honestly so sad. My partner was holding me for a while, but now he's off to sleep because he has to go to work tomorrow.

I'm lying in bed crying. It's just so painful. I really want to give my little boy a sibling. I'm 34.

Does this pain get any better?

It does

With time it does get easier, I had one in September and it crushed me.

I honestly don’t think it does get any easier and I’m not going to lie. But in all honesty you do find other ways of living and coping with it. I hope you get there in the end wherever and whenever that may be.

Do I take the first day of miscarriage, when the bleeding started, as the first day of my new cycle?

Thank you, I conceived the month after it happened which was a shock, I was expecting it to take another 14 months .

I had a period in between and that was really hard, the first day of that bleed I phoned in sick to work.

I'm so sorry for what you had to go through- it's so horrible and you will only know the pain once you experience it.

We're also ready to start trying again once my body allows me to.

thanks, it is a horrible pain you don't understand until it happens,

We had to go to the EPAU for an early scan because I woke up to blood one morning and I was so scared , obviously it didn't help things were so fresh from the previous experience but all was well and now 22 weeks hopefully everything keeps going well.

It will go well, I'm convinced! 22 weeks means the pregnancy is well established. 😊Wish you a good delivery, it will be so exciting to meet your little one x
