Pregnant again after two miscarriages

Hi, not sure what I am looking for from this post. However, I took a pregnancy test this morning and it was positive.

I have had two missed miscarriages, one in October and one in January. The latest one was slightly more complicated than the first as I retained some products and ended up with a MVA at the beginning of February. I have been referred to the recurrent miscarriage clinic due to my age (39) and have my appointment mid-April. At the time of the MVA, the doctor doing the procedure advised not to wait until my first cycle before TTC again but to try after negative test, which is what we have done.

I’ve contacted my GP today but earliest appointment I can get is in 10 days time. I’m not sure if or what they can do, but would it be worth trying to get any appointment sooner?

Should I be doing anything differently? Or just let nature take it’s course?

I am also not experiencing any symptoms. I think that it may be too early for these as I reckon I am about 4 weeks. However, paranoia has already kicked in as I had very little symptoms before the second miscarriage.

As I say not sure what I am looking for from this post, but than you for readingSmile

Oh, I should have said that the test I took today was quite faint.

Hope everything has gone well with your pregnancy? Have just had second miscarriage and terrified now to try again. Wish you all the best

I too have just had a 2nd miscarriage (1st 16 months ago) although older and understand the risks it is devastating and feels so lonely going through the process. Sending good vibes to you JeanT81 and know you are not alone

Thanks for that Zasian13 hope all is good with you. It’s so lonely and nice to hear from people going through the same. Xxx
