Hi

I think I just wanted to try and find someone who was going through the same as what me and my partner are going through.

Pregnancy was fine apart from feeling sick 24/7 and so tired up until the week before my 12 week scan. We get there and unfortunately there was an empty sac. We had to go back again for another scan two days later and the sac had grown so they didn't want to start a miscarriage just in case. A week later another scan but still no baby. I opted for the tablets as I hadn't miscarried yet and tbh after the faff I just wanted it done.

Took them tablets on the 18th of feb. The hospital do keep ringing to check on me but I've essentially only been spotting since.

Now my bump has come back and my boobs have started to leak a little. I fully understand that the pregnancy will continue until it's miscarried but I'm so fed up now. It would make me about 15 weeks pregnant.

Has anyone ever gone through something like this? Sorry for the essay!

I have had. Mmc but didn’t get so far. Have your thought about asking for a D&C so u can at least get your body back?

I've been back to the hospital since and the sac is still growing so the tablets haven't worked 🙄

D and c was an option but with covid it is a last resort. I'm going back tomorrow to try one more round of tablets but internal rather than oral. If these don't work then I will have the surgery.

It's all just so mind blowing how the body works

I had this over 20 years ago. It was truly awful at the time and I felt my body had cheated me. I thought it would take me a long time to get over it.

I accidentally became pregnant the month after the D and C, and apart from the worry about a repeat performance during the first 3 month, I was able to relax into the new pregnancy.

I know you aren't at that point, so I hope I'm
not being tactless. But you will get through this.

No not at all. I think we've just got to a point with this pregnancy they we wanted it sorted.

I had tablets and it started last night so now we can concentrate on moving forward. Thank you ❤️
