V early miscarriage. Just wait?

I'm 4 weeks + 3 days so very early on. Had some light bleeding this morning and low back pain. I had suspicions something wasn't right as when I did my test a few days ago the line was quite faint and in previous (successful) pregnancies I've always had a blazing line on the day my period is due. My question is, do I just wait and see? Call EPU? They can't do anything so seems a waste of everyone's time.

Hey , I’m so sorry about your situation right now , I have been there many times and that’s exactly how it started for me when I lost mine , I have had 5 early losses and if I was you I’d just wait it out , yours is quite early on and it would happen naturally without too much pain ! More likely like very heavy period and some heavy cramping ! I lost mine at 5-6 weeks and all natural . I doubt it gp would do anything because you’re so early and they wouldn’t be able to see anything on a scan , it would probably be chemical pregnancy so early , they would simply just say to you to wait and see what happens ! But if it’s a misscarrige there is nothing you or doctor could possibly do to fix it , I’d really recommend to wait it out xxx good luck xxx

If it’s a misscarrige it would likely to get worse with pain and bleeding in couple of days , but if bleeding stops then I would defanetly would get in touch with GP if the bleeding stops because sometimes you can have bit of bleeding in early pregnancy’s and everything is okay . Xxx

Thank you both. It's turning into more of a period type bleed now, so assuming that's it. I'll wait and see how it goes then retest next week just to confirm its all over.

I'm sorry for your miscarriage OP. For a loss at that stage EPU wouldnt do anything unless you were having high levels of bleeding or pain. The GP may run bloods or may just ask you to test again in a week. Wishing you all the best

Thanks @TheDaydreamBelievers I thought so. I didn't want to waste anyone's time.

I've had passed a few small clots today which is unusual for me. Definitely slightly more cramping than a usual period as well. But nothing worrying.
