Perfect scan yesterday - 24 hours later bleeding and clots

Hi everyone.

We had our 3rd frozen embryo transfer last month which worked.
Our fresh transfer resulted in our 4 year old daughter - had a SCH at 6+1, 1st fet aug 2019 ended 5+1, 2nd fet ended 5+2.

I am currently 5+4. I had brown spotting yesterday so panicked and paid for a private scan which was perfect: measured exactly 5w3days, no sign of bleeding, yolk sac found. Gestation sac was good shape no sign of it breaking down etc. Spotting stopped and this morning I had nothing. Then I went for a number 2, (very constipated) and about an hour later I felt something so I checked and passed some clots with fresh bleeding. Mild cramps followed shortly after this. Any thoughts? Yesterday’s scan was perfect so I just don’t get it 😰😢 I have another booked for tomorrow but just hoping to hear some positive stories.

Fingers crossed the straining has just dislodged some old clots and the fresh blood was just a blood vessel they knocked on the way out or something ... hope it all settles back down and you have a smooth pregnancy

Bleeds, even big ones, can happen during the early stages of perfectly healthy pregnancies. My friend had this and assumed the worst but now has a very healthy baby boy. Fingers crossed everything still looks good on your scan tomorrow.

Thank you. I had myself on my first pregnancy. But it didn’t happen on the second or third so hard to keep hopeful x
