Morning.
Its been a tough couple of days.

Currently 10+5 days. Monday night around 10pm I bled onto my pj bottoms, I would say it was about a tablespoon. Bright red.
I haven't bled since but when wiping after going to the toilet, there's a faint stain of brown. Not enough to be classed as discharge.
I spoke with the midwife initially when the bleed happened and was told that without cramping, or continous bleeding I was to monitor at home.
Absolutely understandable in today's world of living alongside Covid.

This is my second pregnancy, I have a 6 year old.

Today I have woken up feeling odd. I still have my pregnancy symptoms, sickness most prominate as I have HG, but overall I feel less tired, less sick than usual. Less pregnant. I know that sounds strange, it's just a feeling.

My 12 week scan is in 9 days and I'm at a loss of what to do. The midwife said to monitor the bleeding from home - of which there has been no more and having a 'feeling' of being less pregnant doesn't qualify for an EPU visit.

I think I've convinced myself there is something wrong and I would rather no sooner rather than later whether the feeling is right.

I just wanted to share my worries and wondered if anyone had felt the same and wanted to share their story. Daffodil

Little medical history:
I was diagnosed with Shingles in December 2020 and from dates of sex, I conceived the week before my diagnosis. I was on anti viral meds, ibruprofen, paracetamol and amitriptraline - all whilst not knowing I was pregnant. As I was recovering from the Shingles, I started feeling sick and thought - wow this feels like morning sickness. January period was looming and didn't arrive - test showed positive.
Strangely I had a small bleed in December, not a usual period for me but I put the light bleed down to having Shingles and the toll it was taking on my body. There's no way I could have conceived after this light bleed as we didn't have sex because I was so ill.
As soon as I found out I was pregnant I stopped taking the amitriptraline and pain meds. I'd already finished my course of anti virals. The GP reassured me that even if I'd have known I was pregnant, I would have needed the anti virals meds due to how poorly I was and that the shingles rash was on my face and eye.
