First cycle after miscarriage

Hi ladies. This is my first cycle after my miscarriage that resulted in a d&c. It is heavier and longer than my usual cycles. Has anyone else experienced this? Thanks in advance!

I think my first post miscarriage period has ended. These are the differences I've noticed:

Normal pre pregnancy periods:
Lasted 4 days
Minimal cramping
Medium / light flow
No spotting beforehand
25 day cycle

This one:
Lasted 7 days but stop/started in that time
Exceptionally painful for first 36hours
Light flow
Interested to see how long this cycle will be

Hi, kinda in the same boat as yourself. I went through a mmc in November. I was 12 weeks pregnant but the sac was 6 weeks. 2 weeks ago, I had to go through MVA because the last bit of tissue wouldn't come out. I bled for about 4 days then nothing. I had pains then they stopped. 2 days ago, I started to get cramps, I got a negative test yesterday and today I started to bleed, only a little. A light red/pink colour. And I dont know if that's my period. For 2 weeks, I've been so paranoid about getting an infection and all I've wanted is a period so I know its finally time to move on. 4 months of hell, I wanna move on. Thanks x

Mine were very different:

First miscarriage - missed miscarriage, surgical management at 10 weeks. Didn't have a period for 8 weeks, period was completely normal.

Second miscarriage - very early miscarriage at 4-5 weeks. Period came as expected 2-3 weeks later and was a little heavier. I think almost anything is normal as long as you're not going through more than one pad an hour they say.
