Slow falling hcg levels

Hi I think I am 7 weeks pregnant Iv had no pain or bleeding and had a scan 5 days ago and there wasn’t anything there no visible sac and had my bloods done to check hcg they were 5400 and I have had them done every 48 hours the second one was 5200 and my last one was 4800. Has anyone else had similar and gone on to have a normal healthy pregnancy? I have a scan tomorrow but driving myself crazy googling and googling but haven’t found anybody whose levels were as high as mine everyone seems to be 1000 or under. I’m probably kidding myself and I’m going to have a miscarriage but just wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience? I had a still birth last year so my anxiety is through the roof with worry I can’t settle :(

Hey, sorry you are going through this. I am 7 weeks and started to spot last Thursday, went to emergency room last friday where they did an ultrasound and said they seen the gestational sac but not a yolk sac and they told me could be ectopic or miscarriage and gave me an appointment for the EPU for Monday. Got through the weekend fine, still had mild bleeding but no pain, They gave me a transvaginal scan Monday morning and told me that they couldn't see anything and said it was pregnancy unknown location . Got bloods done Monday and back tomorrow for more. Still have bleeding, no pain and no clots so still could be ectopic. The waiting is the worse part, just want to know now. Hope you have a positive out come

Oh sorry to hear your going through it aswell the whole being in limbo is horrific! Fingers crossed for you today. I was told pregnancy unknown location aswell and one nurse did say ectopic but then another seemed angry that it had been mentioned when I hadn’t had all of my blood work at that point and it might not be that. I have started with very light spotting just there when I wipe :( hope today goes ok for you

Sorry to hear you have started spotting , good luck with your scan today, please let me know how you get on. I'm still spotting so I'm beginning to think that it might be ectopic. I'll be thinking of you today

I will I’m not expecting good news and more than likely an ectopic. it’s so awful this has to happen. Hope your bloods come back quick and your not waiting what feels like a lifetime :(

I'm convinced its ectopic aswell as bleeding has nearly stopped and I've no pain whatsoever in fact physically I feel fine. I just feel so let down by my body now that it cant even get rid naturally, at this stage I just want to know what's happening so I can prepare for it. I'm going to head into the hospital now,hoping if I get bloods done early they will ring me this evening.
Please let me know what happens with your scan today x

It’s all the unknown isn’t it so stressful. Hopefully you get some answers today. Iv started with lower back pain it’s not agony but it’s got more than a dull ache. I’m still classed as unknown location couldn’t see anything in my womb, tubes, ovaries and pelvis and I have to go back in a week for more bloods. Another week of torture :( X

Ah no way, I'm so sorry. That's exactly how I started last Thursday, lower back ache it wasnt bad at all and then spotting when I wiped for about 2 hours and stopped and back ache went. Then Friday spotting was a little bit heavier but nothing like a period and now today absolutely no blood at all and I feel grand, no pain or anything. It's a nightmare, I dont think I'll hear from them today, I reckon it will be tomorrow 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️. Its horrible to think you have to go through this for another week. Let me know how your getting on x

It’s awful a lot can happen in a week. Feel like the back pains got stronger aswell. Let me know how you get on hope you hear something soon x

Hospital just rang me and confirmed I had a miscarriage, they said my levels had dropped to 90 today. I'm glad I now know however it's hard to believe as I had no pain and didnt bleed much. Hope your doing ok

I’m in hospital I have miscarried aswell. feel the same as you aswell in that I now know and pleased didn’t have to have the operation or injection! Wish you all the best for the future and send a virtual hug x

Awh I'm so sorry to hear that its different when you actually hear the words that you have miscarried. I hope your able to go home soon and recover in your own time. Thinking of you 🙁🙁
