Hyperplasia after miscarriage

Hello ladies,
I had a missed miscarriage after a FET just before Christmas (missed miscarriage at 7 weeks, MVA at 12 weeks). I've just had my histology reports back, and the consultant says the biopsies have shown endometrial hyperplasia. She says she's not worried, and probably just a result of the pregnancy tissue being there a while.
Anyone else had experience of testing for hyperplasia after miscarriage? I'm a bit confused, because my oestrogen is always low, and I always need extra to thicken my lining enough for FETs. I'm just really worried something's wrong now!

Hello @amb319

I know this post is old but wondering how you got on? I had a missed miscarriage at 9 weeks in JAn and had an erpc. I’ve been trying since but have just been told my lining is thick and need to have a biopsy to check status of hyperplasia. I’m terrified it’s cancer or precancerous and they’ll tell me to have a hysterectomy!

Be good to know what happened for you?
X

Hi, I have had a similar experience and wondering how either of you have got on since.
I had a miscarriage in august and a few weeks later scans showed still some retained products, had them removed which showed not only it wasn’t pregnancy tissue but also have hyperplasia. Desperately TTC #1 since June 2020 :-(

Hi I know this is an old post but just wondering what your outcomes were as I’m in a similar position now

Hi, I had these results, for simple hyperplasia without Atypia, around November 2021 and a biopsy booked for March 2022. I got pregnant again at the end of the year, am now 29weeks and all is going well this time. So I haven’t had the biopsy, scheduled in for January 2023 as needs to be 3 months after birth.
sorry not much help yet but it didn’t affect my fertility at that point so plenty of hope you will have the same story.
wishing you lots of luck and good wishes!
