How long for period to return

I had a miscarriage at the beginning of December. I was 7weeks pregnant at the time. I didn't have any medical intervention. Negative pregnancy test two weeks later (21st December) but I still haven't had my period. It's almost 6weeks. When should I expect my period and when should I speak to someone if it's not returned?

Hi @happylittlechick. I miscarried at 8 weeks at the beginning of December and My period arrived just under 5 weeks later. I read on the NHS website it can take 4-7 weeks so I would contact your doctor if you haven’t had anything by next week xxx

I miscarried in August at 8 weeks and my period came just over 5 weeks later. I also had a miscarriage at 6 weeks mid December. My period hasn’t come yet. If you’re worried I’d probably give EPU a call? I have been and the nurse there has been so helpful. All the best Xx
