Hi,
Does anyone have any advice or experience?

It is very likely this will result in miscarriage but maybe there is hope?

I am 8+1 today and had an early scan which showed an embryo at 6+2 no heartbeat found and a yolk sac at 8mm.
I know, doesn't sound good.

I have a repeat scan on Monday. Why hasn't my body started the miscarriage if it has gone 😕

I think you have to wait until Monday. Not sure anyone can give advice. All hugs and prayers.

I'm sorry Flowers

How sure are you about your dates?

I have experienced a missed miscarriage, however mine was found at my 12 week scan so there was no doubt about what had happened (I'd had a private scan at 8 weeks and all was fine, 12 week scan showed 9 week foetus and no heartbeat). I can't imagine how you must feel with knowing you have got to wait until Monday.

Thanks so much for your replies.

I had a positive test on 5th December so feel like the dates should be right.

Large yolk sacs don't have good outcomes either. I still have sore boobs and nausea..

This is rubbish.

Sorry about your missed miscarriage. That must have been so awful at 12 weeks Flowers

I'm so sorry ur going through this, the waiting is absolutely awful. Ur hormones can cause u to still have symptoms and it can take a few weeks to miscarry, I'm so sorry to even say that cause I do believe there is always hope, I found out at 10 weeks that I had an empty sac, still had all the symptoms and no bleeding or cramps, the sac was empty and stopped growing at 6 weeks but took me to be almost 12 weeks to miscarry.. I spent all over xmass clinging onto hope, I wouldn't be able to give up hope until the hosp confirm it, I hope everything turns out okay and if not there is so much support out there to get u through it and to try again xox

Thank you so much. I feel worried about the management as I'm not sure which is the best option.

The songrapher said she doesn't want to give me hope so I'm pretty sure it isn't viable.

We won't be trying again now, second miscarriage in 4 months, it is too much. So sorry to hear about your loss too, it seems so common when people talk about it.
