I’m 2.5 weeks post-miscarriage (surgical management) and wondering when my tests should be negative? They didn’t give any advice on this and I forgot to ask! Still v. strong positive at the moment.

For me it has been anywhere between one and seven weeks.

I’m sorry about your miscarriage. Flowers It’s worth keeping your EPU updated in case they want to do another scan to check for anything retained.

Thank you for sharing your experience.

It could be longer then! I think I’m just being a bit impatient as the symptoms are still here and I’d quite like to move on now Sad

Hello Caffe, I got told to test after 3 weeks (surgical management also) and tested on the exact date. It was negative and I felt very relieved. Give it another 4 days or so, don't test daily if you can help it. Sending you a hug. Hope you're ok as much as you can be x

Hi @Caffeineandcarbs

I had medical management and it took 5 weeks to get back down to zero. It seemed to go on forever.

I had it monitored after I was still getting strong positives after 3 weeks to reassure me it was decreasing.

After ERPC surgical management I was told to test after 3 weeks. However unfortunately I still have a faint positive at 5 weeks.
