Just wondering if anyone has previously had a similar experience to me, I suppose I’m searching for either peace of mind or some hope.
I have previously had two miscarriages - the first was a missed at 8 weeks (there was a strong heartbeat initially) the second was a natural miscarriage (no heartbeat ever found). I started with brown discharge that turned into fresh bleeding with both.
I have now fallen pregnant for the third time and was hoping this may be our time. I began spotting at 4.5weeks (a tiny amount of pink and brown but obviously went into panic mode) - I booked a private appointment and after hearing about the benefits of progesterone, requested to try it. I was prescribed Cyclogest, 400mg. The bleeding stopped and things seemed positive until a few hours ago I began having fresh bleeding with cramps. Although I feel like I know the answer - Is it likely I’m miscarrying again?
I had a scan at my first appointment and things seemed to be ok, I have another Wednesday (will be 6weeks) so I suppose it’s a waiting game but I’m just wondering if anyone had experienced anything similar and still had good news.
