Hey Everyone, I’m new to this. I’ve really been struggling through my pregnancy loss. Especially because this is a second loss (March 2020, Oct 2020). I find that I’m struggling with this second loss because I’ve been bleeding for many days. 1st period after mc in Oct was regular. But , second period now lasting 15 days so far. I have an appointment with my dr. Tomorrow. I have not had a scan since mc in October Bc I’ve been trying to find a new dr. Covid-19 had made it difficult to get an appointment. Just want to know if anyone experienced this?

A similar thing happened to me last year. Bleeding from the mc stopped and then about a week later (right on time) a period started but as it tailed off after 5 days it came back and then tailed off and I continued to bleed lightly for about 2/3 weeks. I went back to the epu and they weren't at all concerned as I'd had a negative pregnancy test and said it was simply hormones out of whack. They said to give it another 8 weeks. Low and behold my next period was normal/very slightly longer than normal. My GP (who I saw before the epu referred me for a scan) and that was all normal too as the epu doctors predicted. I also had cycles that were variable in length for a few months (but that could have been my age too as I was 43).

So sorry to hear of your loss! Thank you for sharing your experience. I hope I have the same outcome as you. Finally had my scan and blood drawn, awaiting results. I wish we never had to experience such pain and confusion.
