I lost a pregnancy at 11 weeks, 3 weeks ago. I'm a bit confused about when my next cycle begins. I bled for 2 and a half weeks - first spotting, then light bleeding, then heavy with large clots, then an average to light flow that gradually tapered off. I had a negative pregnancy test about 3 days ago. Does my next cycle start now? I was told most women get their periods 2-4 weeks after miscarrying but when does that time frame begin? I have tried to google but one site said CD1 is the day you start bleeding while another said a new cycle doesn't begin until all HCG has left the body, so I'm a bit confused.
