Miscarriage 3 days after seeing HB?

Monday: I saw a heartbeat at 7w2d.

Wednesday: I started cramping a little but I have had cramps on and off since my BFP so wasn't too worked.

Thursday: my cramps hurt a bit more ( about period level pain) so I had a hot water bottle to soothe it. Then midday I notice bright red blood when I wiped. Nothing was touching my pad but there was a lot each time I wiped after peeing.

EPU checked my cervix and said it was closed. Said they aren't worried based on the fact I had a good scan on Monday and the fact I wasn't bleeding through a pad an hour. Said they wouldn't scan me again twice in one week so I have to wait until Monday to see for sure.

Friday: Pain a lot worse (more severe then my period pains). Bleeding was hitting my pad similar to a light/medium period level. Still bright red but no clots.

Went to EPU again because of the pain being so intense. They checked and cervix was still closed. Gave me codine and said I have to wait till Monday for my scan but they still are not worried.

My pain was managed well the rest of the day with the codine.

Saturday: still bleeding red enough to fill a pad the same as a light period. No clots but was a bit if stringy mucus blood. Pain was less and only needed to take codine once in the morning.

Sunday/today: bleeding is no longer touching my pad. When I wipe is brown blood mixed with a little red occasionally. No pain but I feel a little pressure and tender.

My scan isn't until tomorrow late afternoon and I have been crying non stop the last few days. I don't know what to expect. I'm so scared.
I feel in my heart this is a m/c but the doctors keeps saying they aren't worried. My cervix is closed. There was a hb a few days ago. I've also no passed any clots.

But my blood has been bright red. My pain has been sevre.

I'm so confused.

Has anyone experienced anything like this? Whether it was a good it bad outcome please share. I just need to prepare myself on what to expect :(

I'm so sorry for your loss.

I too saw my baby's heartbeat the day before miscarriage - this detail made it all the more heartbreaking, so my empathy really is with you. It feels even more unfair.

Take time and look after yourself.
