Positive test after surgical management

Hello, I’m Wondering if anyone can help ...

At 7 weeks I was told I was having a miscarriage and I choose to wait 2 weeks for a natural miscarriage to happen. After 2 weeks nothing happened and I went back to the EPU for further tests. It was then I was told I had a molar pregnancy and would need surgery that day to remove it. I was taken straight down to surgery and the tissue was removed. I returned home that day and after a few days of rest, went back to normal life feeling absolutely fine.

It has been 16 days since my surgery and I am still getting a positive pregnancy test. The clearview one this morning came back as 2-3 weeks.

Has anyone else been through a similar situation and if so, how long did it take for the pregnancy test to come back as negative?

So sorry for your loss. Flowers
I tested a strong positive 5 weeks later. I didn’t test after that.

For molar pregnancy you need careful followup and might even need futher treatment. Please contact your EPU as to what next steps are specifically im regards to this diagnosis of molar pregnancy
