Trigger - new pregnancy. How do you cope

My sons heart stopped beating at 21 weeks earlier this year. He developed unexplained fetal hydrops and a full post mortem never found a cause.

I was induced and he was just perfect.

Fast forward to now and I'm 15 weeks pregnant. 12 week scan was all normal and showed a very active little baby. Whilst doctors are cornered it will reoccur in this pregnancy, I'm high risk and will be scanned monthly from next week.

I can't ask for anything more in terms of my care. But how can I relax. I'm sending myself crazy here counting down to my scans. Looking at my bump thinking "it looks large I bet there's excess fluid again". I don't know how to calm down and stop worrying!!!!

I have no experience of what you had but just wanted to say I wish you all the best.
I've had several miscarriages and am convinced it's going to happen again and am testing every day so not the best person to help!

Wishing you well for the rest of your pregnancy xx

@FallingStar thank you for your well wishes!

I'm sorry to hear of your previous losses. It sounds from you post as though you're pregnant? (I'm sorry if I've wrongly assumed).

@FallingStar Ahh amazing! Huge congratulations to you. I hope we will both look back on this thread in a year and be complaining at the lack of sleep due to our beautiful babies! X
