Low hcg/ miscarriage?!

Hi ladies I need some advice and this may be a little long..

So On 20/09 I found out I was pregnant, took a pregnancy test every day since and they were positive but quite faint
On 23/09 I started bleeding, started off spotting and then turned into bright red blood but not as heavy as a period .. on 25/09 took a clear blue test and it came back pregnant 1-2 weeks

Got a little worried so went to the early pregnancy unit on the 27/09 where they carried out a scan which they couldn’t see anything so they tried the vaginal one and they said they could see a sac but no baby in there but possibly because I was early and to re test in 1-2 weeks.. they also did a blood test that day and sent me home saying they will ring with results..
2 hours later the midwife rung and said she’s certain ive had a miscarriage as my hcg levels were 25 and they should of been higher, told me to re test in a week and sent me on my way with no follow up appointments.

Now my problem is where do I actually stand? Surely I should have of had more tests to see if my hcg levels were actually raising and to confirm a 100% miscarriage? I stopped bleeding 3 days later and since then I’ve just had pink blood every time I wipe, still bloated, feeling sick and weeing lots. I haven’t done A pregnancy test yet as waiting till Friday but could it be possible that my hcg levels could rise and it turn into a healthy pregnancy? My mind has been in over drive all week!

@Mumma1998 From my experience with hcg levels, everyone is so different and they don’t peak til a little later on. I had bloods done early on, like 5 or 6 weeks and they said they weren’t sure if there were high enough but the only way for them to tell is to then redo the blood tests every few days, it’s more the rate of increase that they were looking out for when I had my blood tests. That’s what the nurses and doctors said to me so that’s all I have to go off. I’ve got everything crossed for you x

HCG is supposed to double every 48-72 hours so you should be getting bloods taken every couple of days and that will give a good picture as to what’s going on. I don’t want to scaremonger but you do want to rule out anything sinister like an ectopic. Listen to your gut and if you feel something’s not right, don’t be afraid to push for more tests until you get a definitive answer. Good luck xxx
