Very confused by hcg

I had a d and c 6 weeks ago and had what I believe was my first af which finished yesterday after 3 days.
My hpt is still very faint today and def not pregnant. Has anyone experienced this ?

Hi, your HCG levels can hang around for a while, it can mean some left over tissue the body still has to pass and will also depend how far along you got. I'd say talk to your doctor but it does sound fairly normal based on what I know

Hi @Baileys123 I'm so sorry to hear you've been through this. I think the beta HCG should be completely out if your system by now - especially after 6 weeks and what you thought was a normal period. Can you contact your EPU? They might want to scan you and/or check a blood level. Xx

I think you need to contact your GP, or the EPU where you were seen. You may need to have a blood test to check your levels, and see that everything is as it should be.
