Hi everyone unfortunately it’s not a happy post. A week ago we went for our 12 week scan and was told baby’s heartbeat stopped at around 8 weeks 6 days. The news was obviously devastating and is not what anybody wants to hear. Anyway I was booked for the surgical procedure on Monday just gone but I actually stared my miscarriage last sat, this started with spotting and really bad cramping! For me personally this pain was unreal! Anyway I went to the toilet and there was so so much blood and big clots passed, I’m sorry it’s graphic but I was literally peeing blood. So it calmed down and I went back to bed then about 15mins later I just about made it to the toilet and it happened again the Gush of blood was unreal! And passed more clots I ended up going to hospital as I was very concerned with how much blood is lost. As I was booked in the Monday for the surgery I had to go back in early Monday morning to have an internal scan to see whether I needed this anymore. The main parts had already passed and I had a small amount of pregnancy tissue left and some clots left to come out. As id already started the miscarriage naturally I chose to carry on the process naturally. So since Monday I have had bleeding like a heavy period and a few clots until last night we’re again I got such bad cramping and quite a few big clots again the bleeding was heavier but not as heavy as it was at the start of all this. The bleeding hasn’t been bad today. I really hope that’s it now as I don’t know if I can handle having to go through this again. Sorry this is an essay there’s a lot to say about it. I wanted to write about it to share my experience with others and to see what your opinions are and if any of you think I should be worried at all. Thank you all x
