Possible miscarriage

I decided to take a pregnancy test on Monday, two days ago, and it was positive. My period was over 10 days late and I had spent the weekend experiencing mild cramps with spotting. I was also experiencing nausea in the morning and my breasts were very tender. However, yesterday I had more spotting than usual, mix of light pink and brown. This morning I have no symptoms, no nausea and breasts do not feel tender. After doing some online research, I am afraid I am having a miscarriage.

I have an appointment with my doctor this morning and I am very anxious. The nurse told me over the phone yesterday that it is too early to do an ultrasound, that they usually wait until 8 weeks, but they can keep track of my hcg levels to see if they rise or decline. I have read that some women have gotten a vaginal ultrasound around 6 weeks, should I request one or try to have one done privately?

I did not think it was possible for me to get pregnant, I have a history of hormonal imbalance and endometriosis. I was extremely excited when I saw the positive result but now I am so scared.

Hi, I’m so sorry for the worry you are experiencing. I can completely understand it. I’ve had 3 losses in the last 18 months and am pregnant again. I’m 6 weeks 1 day. I had 2 very small o stances of spotting yesterday and today have woken up and my breasts are no longer sore or enlarged. I’m so scared.
I’ve contacted my midwife and she’s arranged a scan for me for tomorrow, she said they should be able to see something and if not they’ll take bloods. I have had internal scans before very early so I think you should see if you can get one too.
Has anyone else had disappearing symptoms at 6 weeks?
