5 week bleeding?! Help!!!

So we found out we were pregnant last week and working back we are 5 weeks today! Very excited however over the week I would wipe and there would be the faintest bit of pinkish colour blood on the tissue.

It never went on my underwear at all until Sunday when I woke up and the bleeding had become a little heavier. Over the curse of the day I probably changed my bad every 3 hours and every time there was blood on it roughly covering a couple of inches. Later that afternoon I noticed a (TMI) sticky, stretchy, clot like blood on the tissue. It only happened that once and the bleeding today has settled down to nothing on the pad and just when I wipe.

Booked in for an early scan next week when I turn 6 weeks but I'm worried, was this a miscarriage? I have had a very ache in my stomach since just before I found out which didn't particularly get worse when I bled.

Just looking for some other people who may have had the same thing and either had a positive out come or even if it wasn't to be would still like the hear people's experiences.

Thanks,

Hi @squashies90 sorry to hear about the bleed and hope everything is alright.

I had spotting throughout my intial days and in 7th week had heavy bleed followed my multiple palm size clots pass (sorry TMI). On next day scan nothing was found and i was confirmed to have chemical pregnancy. Unfortunately my story is not a positive one but i know many have positive outcome so pls wait for the scan results. But at the same time keep yourself strong if the scan is not positive. Hang in there and take care of yourself 😊

I am going through a very similar experience. How did it go?
