Ovulation/period Q’s after miscarriage

Just a quick question...
Have been bleeding and had positive tests for 5.5wks after miscarriage. Finally had a negative 2days ago! Still spotting a tiny bit though. Will I now ovulate when bleeding completely stops then period or could I go straight into a period?
First miscarriage so after some advice!

Hi OP, I'm really sorry for your loss. I had a mmc in June at 8 weeks which I had an mva for - it was okay really and nothing to be scared of. I've linked a thread below where I shared my experience of it in detail.

I found the same thing with ovulation tests but after looking into things I found out that ovulation tests can confuse HCG with LH so if you have leftover pregnancy hormones in your system it would show as a positive opk as it would be picking up the HCG instead. I waited until I got a negative hpt after the procedure and then started doing ovulation tests again the same day I got the negative. It took me 6 weeks to see a negative test and then I ovulated a few days after that. AF arrived almost 9 weeks post mva. I hope all goes well for you and your body returns to normal quickly xx
