I found out at my dating scan almost 10 weeks ago that baby had passed away. I was 13 weeks pregnant. I had 2 rounds of failed medical management & then had an erpc 8 weeks ago.
I haven't stopped bleeding since, I found out at a scan 3 weeks ago that there was about 3cm *2cm of tissue left & the placenta still had a blood supply. The consultant I met wants to do a procedure called a truclear. Have any if you had this?
The bleeding ramped up again late this week & I just passed the weirdest looking bit of tissue. It is white/cream in places but also has what appears to be blood clots in it. I'm going into the hospital tomorrow to have this operation & wondering if I should store this bit of tissue to bring with me?
I chose to have the product sent to the lab after the erpc but unfortunately the pathology report showed no foetal remains so wondering if there's any chance this might be the remains of the baby. This is my 2nd mc so I really hoped to have the remains tested.
Thanks to anyone who got this far, it's been the most horrible long drawn out process for me.
