Hi ladies, am desperate for some advice.
I found out on 1st July at my 12 week scan that the baby had no heartbeat, probably stopped around 9.5wks.
I hadn’t any signs of miscarriage so was a missed, had medication and left it two weeks, nothing happened.
Went back in had more medication, higher dose this time. All started that evening, bled very very heavily all night that night. The next two days I passed all the pregnancy tissue, sac etc. Then bled for 2.5wks ish after. I then had two days ish of nothing but white creamy discharge.
Then I started spotting and have been spotting ever since for about 9 days which takes me to today :( also pregnancy test very faint positive 9days ago then today test strong positive! Arrgghhh!
I spot for a few hours a day then nothing all afternoon and night then a bit in the morning again. Pinky blood and brown discharge.
Is this still the end of the miscarriage?
Have now bled and had a positive test for 5.5wks heeellllpppp!

Hi there. I'm really sorry for your loss. I've been in the same position and the bleeding can really go on and on after a miscarriage (mine was D and C) and it's something not very well explained when it first happens.
For piece of mind and because the test is still positive you should get checked out at your EPU though, Monday morning if that's the soonest you can be seen.
They should be able to do a follow up scan for any retained products and give you reassurance or advise on next steps. But there's no need to panic unless you have pain/ foul smelling discharge or a particularly heavy bleed.

It's also very likely this is the end of the miscarriage as you say and will gradually ease off, even if it feels like it's been forever.

Thank you for your reply, Sorry to hear you have been through the same.
I called them earlier and they said the same as no smell and feel ok in yourself I need to give it another week!
I brought some supermarket cheaper tests today and that was negative which I’m pleased about. It was a clearblue early detection that was positive yesterday so fingers crossed my hcg levels are very very low now!! I’ll test again in a few days to double check and call them weds/Thursday I think If bleeding still happening.
It really is only enough for a panty liner all day though really and not even that some days so hoping this is the end!! At last!!

Ah that's good you got a professional answer. Hope it comes to an end soon. It's tiresome and exhausting!

It really is, you can’t move forward at all can you until the tests are negative and you stop bleeding. Just want to stop and get my first period! Goes on forever :(
