Possible miscarriage

Hi, I was wondering g if anyone could help me. I’ve just had my first child 8 weeks ago.. only bled for 2 weeks and then started what I thought was a period about 5 days ago, a week after going on contraception. I had bad cramps today then felt something come out of me and then when I went to the toilet I noticed something on my pad which to me definitely didn’t look like a blood clot. I’m a bit worried I’ve had a miscarriage?
