Well its been 9 weeks since I started bleeding, 8 weeks since the emergency trip to A&E, 7 weeks since I passed the sac...
I finally got my actual period this week :) i thought i'd never spot it because of the constant bleeding anyway, but for those wondering it was darker, thicker and no where near as heavy as I thought it would be.
Compared to MC gushes its a breeze, period cramps now compared to MC cramps feel like nothing at all.
Im happy (weirdly) because its a sign of closure for me. I tried conceiving again after MC1 before i got my period last time and it resulted in MC2, so I wad determined to wait until my body gave me a sign that things are returning to normal.
I will say a warning though that I initially found getting my period quite triggering, I was convinced i'd soak through the bed again and be stuck on the loo for 30mins or pass huge clots again, so it was a bit traumatic at first, but when I calmed down and realised it was just my period I relaxed
Just wanted to report a tiny glimmer of hope in all this, seems silly but after months and months of bleeding its nice to have this finally come to a stop :) I cant imagine life without pads now!
