Hormones and Migraines after MC

I had an early miscarriage at 5 weeks towards the end of June and my cycles have gone back to normal apart from I ovulated a little late the first cycle (I use advanced OPKs). I had a migraine when my period arrived which is quite usual when I've been stressed- we have also just moved house. However I also had a migraine around when I ovulated last cycle and now it is happening again. This has never happened before and I'm worried that my hormones have gone crazy. I've been feeling really sad and this isn't helping, we are meant to be trying again but it's the last thing I feel like at the moment! Currently in bed with the curtains drawn. Has this happened to anyone else?

I regularly get migraines around the time of ovulation and my period. When I have had a miscarriage I get lots of headaches as well some of which become migraines. I think for me it is hormone fluctuations. For you if it wasn’t like that before I would say that the hormones take a long time to settle after a miscarriage and not just one month - I am waiting for various blood tests after my most recent one and I have been advised to wait until I have had two periods just to give my hormones time to settle down. So it might be significantly bigger hormone swings than normal even though you have had a period post miscarriage.

I think though it is worth chatting it through with a doctor just to be sure - I would do that if there was a change in pattern just to reassure myself x
