Last month my husband has had a miscarriage a few days before 12 weeks. I have afew questions but the hospital haven't been able to answer.
Hope someone here can help.
Here is my story.

The day it happen, I was feeling a lot of pain down there and across my lower back (more painful than labour was with our first) I also started to loss a lot of blood, which was coming out in clots. So I knew something wasn't right.
I took myself up to the hospital and within 20mins I was laying down on a bed in the labour and delivery ward having "medical support".
After returning home I had medium to light bleeding for just over three weeks.
Took a pregnancy test, it was negative.
Then five days later I started what I thought was my period. It was a normal period for 5 days, Then the last two days I've had very heavy bleeding and clots again. I'm having to change my pad every hour or so.
I've also had crumps everyday since my miscarriage, and headaches everyday which some days turn into migraines. Which is normal for me at that time of month.
Everyone close to me that's had a miscarriage hasn't had the same experience as me. So I'm a little confused if this is normal.
I was told I'd bleed a little longer than my normal period, then I should expect my period to return with 4-6weeks. I normally only bleed for 3-4 days.
Is it normal to bleed this much?
