Miscarriage after section

Hi so, last night I found out I was pregnant and wanted to be certain so took another test this morning which also showed up straight away as positive, however once I put the lid of the test I started bleeding 😔 this wasn't planned but it still is very sad as in that short time I started getting excited at the thought.

I had a section three years ago with my little boy and also suffered with spd my question is has anyone been in same situation and gone onto conceiving and carrying successfully naturally? as this isn't my first miscarriage since having my ds and starting to wonder if there is a problem

Thank you for your time xx

Hi there, sorry you are in this situation.
But to answer your question.... I did.
I had SPD and a section with my daughter then fell pregnant and successfully carried and had my son 4 years later (didn't have SPD and managed a normal delivery too!.) I had another son a few years ago, spd again and another section.
I am however 3 weeks post miscarriage (foetus died at 8 wks and had surgical management) but i am sure this is NOT related to my previous sections....it is sadly one of those things and likely something was wrong so nature had her way.
I plan on trying again for baby no4 after my next cycle (allowing my body to reset first).
I hope that helps. Take care of yourself. Xx

Thank you for your reply that's reinsuring, I am currently waiting to see how this bleeding goes as it doesn't seem like previous miscarriages as they've all been heavy with strong painful cramps followed with big clots, so far I have been bleeding for the past 24 hours but flow is lighter than usual period never mind average miscarriage for myself and I have had no clots, wondering if it could be implantation bleeding rather than miscarriage however what makes me doubt that is the fact it's a pretty constant flow (even though lighter than normal) and has been accompanied by some mild cramping but nothing which has stopped me in my tracks and also no clots, so I'm unsure and just going to have to play it out and maybe do another tes

Sorry to hear about your miscarriage and I wish you good luck for your future baby xx

Yes, I've had a previous section and SPD. I am currently pregnant for the second time (31 weeks) and although I have SPD again it doesn't seem as bad - just taking it as easy as I can.

All the best x
