No period after surgical management

Hi all, I had surgical management after a missed miscarriage nearly 5 weeks ago and still no sign of period. Pregnancy test is negative. I’m worrying because I don’t know what to expect - people I’ve spoken to have had their period a lot sooner.

When did everyone else get there period after surgery/miscarriage? Xx

Hi @BC11 it took about 9 for weeks for my period to return after my MMC. Then my second has turned up like clockwork. I do have the added complication that my MMC was due to a partial mole pregnacey so my hormones are taking there sweet time to return. I wouldn't panic just yet it can take a while for things to settle.

Keep an eye on it, I didn’t get my period back for months and then only spotting when I should be on and it turned out my cervix was blocked up, so complications can happen!

It took 12 weeks for mine after a mmc a couple of years ago. But only 4 weeks after a mmc at Christmas. I don't know if there was a reason for the difference. I've heard 6 weeks is normal.
