Miscarried 2 days ago. When will the pain stop?

Just that really.
I started bleeding on Saturday at 6 weeks, lost 2 clots and a lot of ‘stringy bits’. Tests are getting fainter and fainter... but the pain is getting worse.
Today is the worst I’ve had for pain, I’ve had to come back to bed and lay down after painkillers didn’t do a thing.
It’s in my lower left stomach and is taking my breath away.
I know the mental pain will linger for a while, we finally got pg after 2.5 years then this happened. Not sure how to process it tbh.
Sorry if this is all a big ramble...

I guess my main question is how long should I expect this pain for?

I'm so sorry for your loss. The pain shouldn't be spiking like that ime so I think you should give the gp or early pregnancy unit a wee call, even if it's just to put your mind at risk. It could be an infection or something similar. At the very least, they should be able to prescribe some stronger painkillers. So sorry x

Sorry your going through this I have just had my 3rd a couple of days it should calm. If it get progressively worse call your local EPU XX

The bleeding seems to of stopped but the pain is ramping up. The nurse seemed baffled at EPU yesterday as the test came back negative, whereas I did a CB Digi on Sunday that said pregnant.
They didn’t scan or anything just did a test and sent me home.

I’ll call the GP tomorrow if it’s still bad
