Hi,
I'm desperate for some answers now, I was under a gynaecologist after my 3rd miscarriage, I was prescribed 5mg folic acid, and aspirin. I've taken these the last time and I started bleeding AGAIN yesterday. The first time was a MMC at 10 weeks, the 2nd 2 after a positive test, and now at 6 and a bit weeks. Has anyone had this and managed to over come it? I'm looking for some answers any help would be amazing xxxx

Hi there - i'm new and dont like to read and run when this forum has been so helpful to me during my 2x miscarriages (still going through the 2nd now)

Firstly i'm sorry, MC really is f**king aweful and there's never really much comfort to take, so I hope you have some good family and friends around you Flowers

What I will say is that I was told after 3x MC you can be referred to a fertility centre for further testing, they screen for things that the Early Pregnancy Unit cant like genetic complications and other things similar to couples going through IVF, have you been told anything like that? It wont give you comfort but might give you answers?

I'm so sorry for your losses @albiemum @GingerCalico

@albiemum Have you had all the tests for recurrent miscarriage? Including blood clotting disorders, karyotyping (genetics) etc?

I had four miscarriages before having two children, it was the hardest thing to go through. I had all the testing through the hospital after the third loss but they didn't find anything wrong. The fifth pregnancy I was on the placebo in a clinical trial (obviously didn't know this at the time), the sixth pregnancy I was on progesterone early on and low dose aspirin after 14 weeks due to previous suspected IUGR baby.

GingerCalico I hope you are recovering from your 2nd loss, give yourself plenty of time and space to heal both physically and emotionally.

I also had fertility acupuncture in the fifth pregnancy. I found it helped with the grief too. I didn't have it in the sixth pregnancy.
