Hi ladies. It’s my first post on here. I’m a little confused. I am/was 6 weeks pregnant i has a scan last Thursday which was showed heartbeat. I have old brown bleeding on wiping from Friday evening till this morning. It was there every time I wiped only and a little in the toilet. Then morning I had bright red loss and a few small clots but then only a small amount of blood less than a period for the rest of the day. Please can I ask did anyone miscarry but just keep losing small amounts rather than a lot? I’ve had slight cramp in my back but nothing major. I’m very confused about what is happening. Thankyou.

Hello, how are you today? Sorry you are under stress right now...
During my first pregnancy, i did bleed a little for weeks at the beginning, nothing worrying at all (however we had to stop the pregnancy at 14 w because our baby was very ill; not related with the bleeding though).
If i were you, I would go to the the Early Pregnancy Unit of your hospital for a scan.
What you could also do is a urine pregnancy test. I know that for my last miscarriage in April, i "monitered it" with pregnancy test showing the numbers of weeks (you know the brand i am talking about). If this number suddenly starts decreasing, it means you are having a miscarriage.
Also, from my experience too, it should happen naturally at this stage, especially if the HCG levels has already started to dropped.
Please keep us updated, hope you are fine.
Sophie.

Hi, I’ve started bleeding heavily and losing clots today, so I’m certain today. Thankyou so much for your comment. Your kindness really came across. I’m so sorry to hear you lost your little one.

Hi really sorry you're going through this. It sounds exactly like mine at 6 weeks. But I'd still go to the hospital for a scan and blood test. It's just one of those things. I've read here and there sometimes bleeding is not always an mc and sometimes it is. Sending lots of hugs. One thing I've learned from this forum is MC is really really common. Women are posting about it everyday.

Sorry to hear you're going through this, FWIW I bled bright red blood at 12 weeks and I thought I was miscarrying. They don't know why is happened but said it isn't all that uncommon either but any bleeding needs to be checked out x

Your not alone. I was 5w3d yesterday and woke up to blood.
I was so excited after such strong positives and just feel completely devastated and heart broken. Xx

Thankyou for your responses. Scan showed no heartbeat anymore and hadn’t really grown since last week. I’m sad but I knew. I was a bit frustrated because I’ve been having clots and bleeding since Monday but everything is still in the uterus and hasn’t passed yet. I feel like i want it to hurry up and be over.

I just took paracetamol, and relaxed in bed for as long as i could.
