Positive ovulation test earlier than expected after miscarriage???

Hi

Usually I ovulated on CD17/18/19 and my cycles are around 31 days long.

This is my first cycle after my miscarriage at 5 weeks and I got a positive ovulation test yesterday morning which was CD14. Ever since, the ovulation tests have become a lot lighter so it was definitely positive on that day.

Anyone else had this? Ovulation earlier than expected after miscarriage? Really wanting to give it the best chance at getting pregnant again this month, never wanted anything more!!

They do say you can ovulate straight after miscarriage and that you are more fertile

@LosingtheTTCplot really hoping that's the case 🤞🏻 would love to get my rainbow baby this cycle

Sorry about your miscarriage, it's a horrendous thing to go through. Have you had a negative pregnancy test yet? I got positive ovulation results for weeks and weeks after my miscarriage and my first cycle was shorter than normal. My second cycle (first full since MC) was massively long at 44 days but I did actually get pregnant on this one. But it definitely messes with your body for a while.

@Pukeymama hi. Yeah I did get a negative pregnancy test after the miscarriage. The OPK tests I've done, not all of them have been positive, I only had 1 positive on CD14 and then the rest have been negative X

@nannon145 sounds like ovulation then 😊🤞

@Pukeymama

I really hope so. Haven't had any ovulation pains but I have had very fertile CM and sore nipples (sorry TMI) x
