How much longer?

Timeline:

7th April had my scan at 12 weeks, found an empty sac. 8th April had medical management and passed a lot of clots, bled for two weeks, stopped for a week and then had 7 days of bleeding (thought it was my period). Then stopped for three days and then had a bleed where I passed a clot a week ago.

So now I’m going on week 7. Getting brown and red blood when I wipe. Nothing heavy. Should I take a pregnancy test? Call EPU? I don’t know anymore. I called them with the big bleed and they said that’s normal. I’m so fed up!

So sorry you've been through this OP. I would give the EPU a ring in the morning. 7 weeks is a long time to still be bleeding. It may be that the medical management hasn't fully worked. Hopefully they will offer to scan you to see if there's still anything in there.
I think it must vary in different regions as i went back for a scan every 2 weeks after mine to see what was going on, until they eventually decided i needed further intervention.

Where I live epu wouldn't see me after it had been 6 weeks since mmc. So 8 weeks on I am dealing with big clots and extremely heavy bleeding every 2 weeks. Basically told its normal despite the fact I was filling a cup in less than 10mins for hours on end. They seemed surprised I hadn't decanted into a different container to know exactly how much I'd lost. After some fighting Ive been put on a blood clotter that seems to be helping the flow but obviously now it's thicker / clottier. Day 11 of bleeding.

Sorry for your loss. I'd do a pregnancy test, then call the EPU. Its the 1st thing they will ask about anyways.

I had a retained product when I needed medical management and bled for 8 weeks! I just wanted it over, because it was a reminder every time I went to the loo. The bleeding stopped for 2 weeks, then what I assume was a period started, and out came a small product! I'd since read that the body will do everything to expel any retained products, even if it take a few cycles. I had no fever, odour or pain and felt otherwise fine, so had no idea. Definitely give them a call x

I took a pregnancy test and it’s one of the 10 mul ones. Major negative. So I’m pretty sure they will tell me not to come in. I’ll give them a call anyway for reassurance.

Sorry to hear that OP. See what EPU say, but I doubt they will scan you. I MC again 2 weeks ago, and called 2 separate EPUS, but neither would scan as not deemed emergency enough. I MC's at home, and even then, they wouldn't scan! Best of luck
