Bleeding for 4 weeks?

Hi,

I was bleeding heavy and then lightly for weeks, approximately 3-4. I called a doctor, they said to take a test, it was positive.

Then I had to go for an early scan due to the bleeding, nothing was found so it was regarded as a non viable pregnancy.

I’ve now had serial blood tests to test my HCG levels. They were at 56 but are currently at 36 last time I checked, so they’re dropping.

I continue to bleed now lightly for the fifth week! I have my next hcg blood test tomorrow but that’s all they’re doing right now. When will the bleeding stop? Is it normal to bleed for this long? I’m scared it’s an infection and the hospital are just not doing anything

I’m very sorry Flowers

I bled for 6 weeks after one miscarriage. The advice I got was as long as there isn’t a bad odour, which could indicate infection, or cramps worse than your usual period then there is no need to be seen.

Thank you for your reply, sorry for you loss.

There is a slight odour but that maybe as I’m prone to BV, but no cramps just slight bloating. Hope it’s not an infection they said it can’t be as I don’t have fever but my GP says the could be so I don’t know
