Expectant management and bbt

Hi I am having an ectopic pregnancy. My hcg blood tests were 104, 48 hours later 121, 48 hours later 175, 11 days later 175. I have decided to wait and see for a few days before having the methotrexate injection to see if it resolved itself.

However for the past 4 days my bbt has been increasing.

Does anyone know if there is a relationship between rising bbt and ectopic? I’m worried that the increasing bbt means that the hcg is also rising?

I'm not an expert by any means, but I do know that once you have a confirmed HPT (regardless of if it results in a loss) most of the tracking sites say to stop temping as it really only serves a purpose to indicate that you have ovulated - I don't believe it has any meaning related to anything else pregnancy specific.

The only thing to note would be if you are recording an extremely elevated temperature which could mean you're ill/have an infection..
